The Pilates Story Mindfulness Community is a recent addition to our studio, expanding our holistic well-being program with mindfulness practices. Our mission is to foster an environment that supports personal growth, self-care, and inner exploration, promoting genuine transformation. In this supportive setting, you’ll have the opportunity to deepen your self-understanding and cultivate greater emotional awareness. We aim to build an inclusive community where everyone feels comfortable sharing their experiences and exploring how mindfulness enhances their overall well-being, as well as the well-being of those around them.
In a time when many are feeling emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed by current events, and uncertain about what lies ahead, Steady Heart offers a much-needed pause. This 90-minute in-person gathering creates space to ground the body, calm the mind, and strengthen the heart — not by turning away from the world, but by turning toward our own clarity, compassion, and values.
This workshop is a natural evolution of the Renewing Hope and grief-focused sessions, inviting the Pilates Story community into a deeper experience of inner steadiness, shared care, and resilient presence.
Jeffrey Mince — Certified Positive Psychology and Mindfulness Coach, former Buddhist monk, and seasoned meditation teacher. With over 30 years of personal practice and teaching, Jeffrey brings a grounded, compassionate, and non-dogmatic approach to supporting emotional resilience, grief integration, and spiritual wellness.

This workshop is open to all — whether you’re carrying personal grief, feeling political anxiety, or simply needing a place to reconnect with calm. No meditation or Pilates experience is needed. Come exactly as you are.
No prior meditation or Pilates experience needed. Chairs are available if you prefer not to sit on the floor.
Preregistration is strongly recommended to save your spot since it is a very intimate workshop.

Meditation Classes
Our meditation and mindfulness classes and day courses explore key aspects of self-discovery and personal transformation, guided by Jeffrey Mince, PCC. With over 30 years of experience as both a teacher and practitioner, Jeffrey—formerly a Buddhist monk—is a fully certified ICF PCC Coach specializing in grief, trauma, loss, end-of-life care, and mindfulness-based Positive Psychology. His approach to mindfulness and wellness meditation is practical, compassionate, and deeply rooted in lived experience.
